The Art of the Restart-the journey of starting over

 At 17, I was just a normal physically active teen with dreams and ambitions, but that all changed when I was diagnosed with "the kissing disease"-mononucleosis, seemed benign at the time but this was the first drop in the bucket in my chase for health. What followed was a cascade of ailments—multiple cases of strep throat, dental issues after my wisdom teeth removal; a few root canals and several cavities-unraveling my once pristine dental record, the college liquid standard American diet didn't help but what really tipped my bucket was a bad case of food poisoning that seemed to change my gut microbiome for over 25 years.
